- Consultative Sessions on Funding and Labor Rights in Civil Society Organizations
The Civil Society Services Center in Erbil organized two consultative sessions in the Bardesh district of Duhok governorate, with the participation of representatives from civil society organizations in the district and its affiliated sub-districts. The sessions addressed key topics, including discussions on funding and sustainable funding mechanisms to support the projects of civil society organizations. Additionally, the sessions covered the concept of employment contracts, their characteristics, and the rights of workers in civil society organizations based on the Iraqi Labor Law applied in the Kurdistan Region.
The #UPP works with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through TATWEER project funded by the European Union and in partnership with local NGOs (Alnajah Center for Training&Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar).
