As an essential part of developing the capacity of local organizations in Iraq, the Civil Society Services Center in Mosul organized a training “Writing Policies of Local Organizations” for a number of civil society organizations in Nineveh Governorate, where the training included the principles of writing policies according to the organization’s competence and how to formulate them in accordance with the nature of the organization’s work and the environment in which it operates.
The #UPP works with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through TATWEER project funded by the European Union and in partnership with local NGOs (Alnajah Center for Training&Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar).
