The concept of strategic planning is one of the most comprehensive concepts for sustaining the work of non-governmental organizations and developing their work through creative and more objective ways of adapting to the work environment.
As an essential part of developing the capacity of local organizations in Iraq, the Civil Society Services Center in Basra organized a training workshop for a group of local organizations in Dhi Qar governorate on “Strategic Planning.” The workshop included the basics of strategic planning for local organizations and how to develop long-term and short-term plans for the project and the organization in general.
The #UPP works with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through TATWEER project funded by the European Union and in partnership with local NGOs (Alnajah Center for Training&Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar).
