Training workshop on project management for a group of local organizations in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq

  • Enhancing the Role of Civil Society… A Step Towards Change!

The Civil Society Service Center in Erbil organized a training workshop on “Project Management” targeting civil society organizations and community actors in Rania, Qaladze, and Sulaymaniyah. The workshop aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to enhance their role in serving their communities.

The workshop included discussions on the fundamentals of project management based on best global practices, effective planning, setting time-bound and financial goals, project implementation, and monitoring skills to ensure success. It also covered performance evaluation and achieving sustainability in projects.

This workshop seeks to empower civil society organizations to develop their capacities in designing and managing projects in a professional and effective manner, ensuring a positive impact on society.

The #UPP works with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through TATWEER project funded by the European Union and in partnership with local NGOs (Alnajah Center for Training&Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar).
