Training workshop on project management for a group of civil society organizations in Baghdad

The development of civil society organizations in Iraq contributes to increasing the chances of promoting positive change in their communities, and this depends on providing training, empowerment and grants to these organizations in order for them to continue working on issues in Iraqi society, especially after the localization of humanitarian work in Iraq has become an urgent need!

As an essential part of developing the capacity of local NGOs in Iraq, the Civil Society Services Center in Baghdad organized a two-day training on “Project Management” for a number of civil society organizations in Baghdad Governorate, including the winners of the Tatweer Project grant.

The training included several basic concepts about project management, including timeframe, strategy, implementation plan, narrative and financial reports, monitoring and evaluation, as well as important information that includes project management according to the basics and principles of management.

The #UPP works with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through TATWEER project funded by the European Union and in partnership with local NGOs (Alnajah Center for Training&Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar).
