Roundtable session on lack funding and sustainability of organizations

Civil society organizations face significant challenges in funding their projects, which directly impacts the continuity of their services and their ability to create sustainable impact within the community. Securing financial resources is therefore a fundamental pillar in supporting the sustainability of these organizations and enhancing their capacity to achieve their developmental goals.

In this context, the Civil Society Service Center in Basra organized a roundtable discussion with a group of local organizations in Basra Governorate to address the issue of “Funding Shortfalls and Organizational Sustainability.”

The session explored key financial challenges faced by organizations and discussed innovative strategies to strengthen financial sustainability, including diversifying funding sources, building strategic partnerships, and adopting sustainability models based on innovation and effective planning.
