Roundtable on activating a mechanism for coordination and cooperation between stakeholders and civil society organizations in Anbar governorate

No two people disagree on the role of local and international NGOs in promoting stability and concepts of peace, intervening through relief, support and reconstruction operations and promoting civil society concepts, and every cooperation between organizations and stakeholders creates a wide area of integrated work!

As an essential part of developing the capacity of local NGOs in Iraq, the Civil Society Services Center in Anbar organized the fourth roundtable on activating a mechanism for coordination and cooperation between stakeholders and civil society organizations in Anbar governorate and improving work plans for human rights issues to achieve the best results.

The workshop was attended by representatives of eleven active organizations in Anbar in coordination with members of the Anbar Provincial Council (Sanaa Al-Fahdawi: Chairman of the Women and Children Committee – Suad Lassoud: Head of the Organizations Committee – Nassima Khalaf: Head of the Education Committee – Talib Younis – Advisor to the Education Committee, Dr. Sabri: Director of Tribal Affairs, Head of the Reconciliation Committee).

The #UPP works with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through TATWEER project funded by the European Union and in partnership with local NGOs (Alnajah Center for Training&Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar).
