- Enhancing the Effectiveness of Civil Society Work: Specialized Monitoring and Evaluation Workshop in Basra!
As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the efficiency of local NGOs and enhance their institutional capacities, the Civil Society Services Center in Basra organized a specialized training workshop targeting a select group of active organizations in the province.
The workshop focused on key aspects of “monitoring and evaluation”, highlighting the importance of utilizing modern tools and techniques to track performance and measure impact, ensuring the development of community initiatives and the achievement of tangible and sustainable results.
The workshop aimed to empower participants to analyze their activities in a scientific and systematic manner, and to utilize evaluation findings to improve future planning and enhance program responsiveness to local community needs, thereby increasing the effectiveness and impact of civil society work in Basra.
The #UPP works with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through TATWEER project funded by the European Union and in partnership with local NGOs (Alnajah Center for Training&Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar).
