– Project management according to a strategic plan is very important to achieve impact and influence and to bring about change in the communities where the projects are implemented. The impact of the project can only be measured by achieving positive change and contributing to solving a problem!
The Civil Society Services Center in Basra organized a training for 11 local NGOs from Southern Iraq on “Project Management”, which included all the concepts related to project management from the moment the project starts until its conclusion, including the plan, strategy, budget implementation, alignment with activities, measuring impact, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure the project’s benefit.
The #UPP works with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through TATWEER project funded by the European Union and in partnership with local NGOs (Alnajah Center for Training&Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar).
