As an essential part of developing the capacity of local NGOs in Iraq, the Civil Society Services Center in Basra organized a roundtable with the participation of 8 local NGOs from Basra, attended by a member of the Basra Provincial Council, the head of the NGOs committee in the Basra Provincial Council, and the head of the NGOs division in the Basra governor’s office to discuss issues related to the work of non-governmental NGOs in Basra governorate and to facilitate cooperation and address these problems and challenges.
The #UPP works with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through TATWEER project funded by the European Union and in partnership with local NGOs (Alnajah Center for Training&Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar).
