  • Empowering Local Organizations: A Strategy for Enhancing Civil Society in Baghdad!

In an effort to strengthen the capabilities of local organizations and develop the civil society framework in the capital, the Civil Society Services Center in Baghdad organized a strategic consultation session. The event brought together experts and representatives from various civil society organizations. The session aimed to develop a comprehensive strategic plan that would enhance organizational efficiency and bolster their capacity to face contemporary challenges.

The discussions focused on several key areas, including Developing Competencies via enhancing the administrative and technical skills of organizational teams, Innovating Administrative Models via adopting new strategies that align with current developments and challenges, Enhancing Cooperation via Building an integrated network of stakeholders to exchange resources and expertise in service of the public interest and Ensuring Sustainability via Implementing methodologies that guarantee the continuity of projects and initiatives while achieving a long-term impact on society.

The #UPP works with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through TATWEER project funded by the European Union and in partnership with local NGOs (Alnajah Center for Training&Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar).
