Strategic planning involves analyzing the organization’s current situation, assessing its resources, and defining its goals, actions, and activities!
As an essential part of developing the capacity of local NGOs in Iraq, the Civil Society Services Center in Mosul organized a training workshop for a group of local organizations in Nineveh Governorate on “Strategic Planning”. The workshop included the basics and concepts of strategic planning, preparing for strategic planning, determining the time period for preparing the plan, assessing the company’s business, defining the mission, vision and key stakeholders, selecting an appropriate plan framework and software for the company, and documenting the strategic plan.
The #UPP works with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through TATWEER project funded by the European Union and in partnership with local NGOs (Alnajah Center for Training&Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar).
