As an essential part of developing the capacity of local organizations in Iraq, the Civil Society Services Center in Erbil, in coordination with the Social Security Department, organized a legal session for a group of local organizations on “Legal procedures for registering members of civil society organizations with the Social Security Department” in the presence of the Director of the Legal Division in the Social Security Department.
The session dealt with all concepts and procedures related to the special registration mechanism related to social security for local and international civil society organizations and how to protect the rights of employees in order to obtain social security in the future.
The #UPP works with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through TATWEER project funded by the European Union and in partnership with local NGOs (Alnajah Center for Training&Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar).
