A training workshop on good governance for a group of local organizations from Erbil and Dohuk governorates

– One of the goals of good governance is to manage public resources in a way that enhances the rule of law and the realization of “civil, economic, political, cultural and social” human rights, which is why good governance is considered a way to achieve the highest levels of justice in governance.

The Civil Society Services Center in Erbil organized training for a group of local NGOs from Erbil and Duhok on “Good Governance”, where the training included the basic principles of good governance, including combating corruption, participation in accordance with the rule of law, transparency, responsiveness, consensus orientation, equity and inclusiveness, effectiveness and efficiency, and accountability.

The #UPP works with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through TATWEER project funded by the European Union and in partnership with local NGOs (Alnajah Center for Training&Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar).
