The issue of Fundraising for local NGOs is of utmost importance, especially in the current global circumstances of tensions and conflicts. It is possible that funding for local organizations may suddenly decrease, making the topic of financial resource mobilization for local organizations very important to avoid project completion problems!
The Center for Civil Society Services in Baghdad organized a training for a group of local NGOs on “Fundraising”. The training covered all issues related to obtaining funding sources for projects and programs implemented by local organizations, and how to enhance their methods in mobilizing financial resources and accessing funding opportunities.
The #UPP works with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through TATWEER project funded by the European Union and in partnership with local NGOs (Alnajah Center for Training&Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar).
